Optical conductivity spectra of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 single crystals
1994
Abstract The infrared reflection spectra of Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O 8 single crystals are measured with the ab plane for 30 – 5000 cm −1 at 2.7 and 293 K. The optical conductivity is calculated by the Kramers-Kronig transformation. The far infrared spectra in the gap region showed features of d wave pairing and strong peaks which are due to the exciton (internal excitation) of Cooper pair.
