Method for preparing haydite from rare-earth tailings

The invention provides a method for preparing haydite from rare-earth tailings, relating to a comprehensive utilization technique of mine secondary resources, particularly a method for preparing unfired haydite by harmless utilization of rare-earth tailings. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: by using rare-earth tailings as a constitution material, uniformly mixing a bonding material, an additive and auxiliary materials with the constitution material subjected to ball milling, spraying atomized water to the mixture, aging, granulating, and curing the raw haydite to obtain the unfired haydite. The method has the characteristics of high utilization ratio of solid waste, low cost, low energy consumption and small environmental pollution, and is simple to operate; and the prepared unfired haydite has the advantages of high strength, low water absorptivity, light weight and high acid/alkali corrosion resistance.
