Precursor antigen of hiv-2 human retrovirus envelope protein and antigen having immunologic cognation, and preparation of these antigen and application to diagnosis

PURPOSE: To enable the infection by HIV-2 human retrovirus to be detected by using an antibody against protein gp300 of a precursor antigen of an envelope glycoprotein of the HIV-2 human retrovirus. CONSTITUTION: An antibody specific to an outer envelope glycoprotein of an HIV-2 human retro virus, or a protein or a glycoprotein sharing a peptide structure of the glycoprotein capable of performing an immunological crossing over reaction with gp125, different in the incidental presence of the oligosaccharide and/or the level of a composition, and formed in various step of formation and maturation cycle of the outer envelope glycoprotein gp125 of the HIV-2 is used for detection of the human retrovirus HIV-2.
