Apparatus for garbage processing

An apparatus for treating food waste is provided to prevent sludge, which is generated during a food waste disposal process, from flowing to a water supply source through a discharge pipe, by crushing and compressing the food waste through first and second screws in a two-stage step. A cutting unit(100) cuts inputted food waste into pieces each having a predetermined size or less. A first screwing unit(200) is joined to a lower end of the cutting unit. The first screwing unit crushes, compresses, and transfers the cut food waste. A second screwing unit(300) is joined to a lower end of the first screwing unit. The second screwing unit crushes, compresses, and transfers the food waste processed by the first screwing unit. A drying unit(400) is joined to lateral surfaces of the first and second screwing units. The drying unit dries the sludge transferred by the first and second screwing units.
