Open D3 Lymphadenectomy
2021
D2 lymphadenectomy is currently recommended for locally advanced gastric cancer by the European guidelines. Extended D3 lymphadenectomy with para-aortic node dissection (PAND) could be indicated in the curative or prophylactic setting. In this video, PAND during open total gastrectomy is shown.
