Aumento da faixa de gengiva inserida através de enxerto gengival livre em área de recessão originada pelo uso de piercing: relato de caso

O Enxerto Gengival Livre (EGL) e uma tecnica simples, rapida, segura e previsivel para a recuperacao da faixa de gengiva queratinizada. A importância dessa tecnica e restabelecer uma estabilidade periodontal proporcionada atraves do aumento da faixa de gengiva queratinizada que tem como sua principal funcao a protecao dos tecidos adjacentes. Dentre os fatores etiologicos traumaticos atuais que ocasionam a recessao gengival, no qual resulta na diminuicao ou perda da faixa de gengiva queratinizada, o uso do piercings na cavidade bucal chama a atencao pelos potenciais efeitos danosos a saude bucal e interferencias nas estruturas teciduais de seu portador. Este artigo relata um caso de aplicacao do EGL em paciente feminina, 21 anos, fumante, para a recuperacao de faixa de gengiva queratinizada, diminuida em decorrencia do uso de acessorio (piercing) com atrito continuo (AU) The Free Gingival Graft (FGG) is a simple, fast, secure and predictable for the recovery of the range of keratinized gingiva.
