Taxonomic studies on the Pediobius eubius complex (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Eulophidae) in Britain, parasitoids of Eurytomidae in Gramineae

Populations of the Pediobius eubius species complex, reared from nine different Tetramesa spp. (Eurytomidae) hosts, were investigated using morphological studies, mate-choice experiments, olfactometer tests and electrophoresis experiments. Results suggest that these populations represent separate biological species. Detailed descriptions and a key for identification of these species are given; six new species are described.
