La spécificité de la scéne de rock en France

My diploma thesis „The specificity of the actual rock scene in France discusses the history of an authentic music genre having its own character, unequalled to any foreign rock scene. The thesis tries to mediate a particular view on its history context development in France, presents the personages who have merit in original creation of the French rock, the ideologies and political events, which have participated in the rock character. The big part oh the thesis addresses to a rock group, Noir Desir, getting started in the 80's, having successful history of almost 15 years on the top. The diploma thesis shows evidence of the musical merits and the acts contributing to the popularity of the group even in foreign countries and the elimination of prejudices against the rock made in France. The glory of Noir Desir still continues, lot of artists of different trades still respects them. The last part of my thesis addresses to the actual talents who continue the way of Noir Desir and keep the tradition of the original rock music in France. The thesis contains didactic materials related to the theme, offering to teachers of FLE activities possible to practise in class.
