The Defining Schemes of Semantic Prosody

Sinclair is regarded as the father of semantic prosody study,however,the term ＂semantic prosody＂ was proposed by another famous linguist——Louw in 1993.From then on,several linguists proposed the definitions for this term and thus the features of semantic prosody become progressively clear.
