Device for visual assistance of an electrophysiological application of a cardiac catheter, - comprising one or more input interfaces (14, 15) designed to receive electroanatomical 3D mapping data of the area to be treated and 3D image data of the area to be treated - a segmentation module (11) made for segmenting the 3D image data in order to extract a configuration of the 3D surface of a contained within the volume captured by the 3D image data object, - a registration module (12) connected to the segmentation module (11) which is constructed for receiving the electroanatomical 3D mapping data and the image data forming the configuration of the 3D surface and for automatic matching of the positions and dimensions of the data electroanatomical 3D mapping data and the 3D image forming 3D surface configuration, by adapting the surface configuring the 3D surface from the 3D image data with a configuration of the 3D surface from the 3D mapping data, at least one of the stages of the register, and - a display module (13) attached the registration module (12) that superimposes together the 3D mapping data and at least the 3D image data forming the configuration of the 3D surface in correct position and dimension to each other and provide for display with a computer display (6).
