The clinical application of Glucocorticoids(GC)

Glucocorticoids(GC) is synthesized and secreted by the adrenal cortex.GC plays a vital role in maintaining metabolic and stress processes which is important part of steroids and is widely used in clinical.On account of this background,the physiological actions and pharmacological actions of GC were elaborate on in this paper.Furthermore,we thoroughly analyzed the clinical application,adverse reaction as well as the corresponding complication of the GC and concluded some considerations for the relevant clinical applications of the GC,which is beneficial for ensuring the safety and utility of the GC in clinical medication.
