Studies of UV-VIS spectra of TiO_2 nano films

The TiO_2 sol was made by the reverse micelle method and the TiO_2 films were fabricated by dip-coating methods under different operating conditions. The thickness and the bandgap of TiO_2 nano films were calculated by using the UV-VIS spectra of the films. The results show that components of the reverse micelle solution, aging time, heat treatment and dip coating times would affect the UV-VIS spectra, thickness, and the bandgap of titanium dioxide films.
