The invention relates to an absorption type vehicle-mounted air conditioning system using exhaust gas waste heat of an automobile engine and a coolant of the engine as thermal power sources, which belongs to the field of air conditioning systems. At present, the vehicle-mounted air conditioning systems of public buses and large tourism passenger vehicles generally have extremely high oil consumption and tail gas emission and extremely serious energy waste and environmental pollution. In the vehicle-mounted air conditioning system, water is used as a refrigerant, and lithium bromide solution is used as an absorbent, so that the absorption type vehicle-mounted air conditioning system is nontoxic and flavorless, and does not have harm to human bodies or damaging effects on the atmospheric ozone layer. The heat of the tail gas waste heat of the engine and the coolant of the engine is used as the power sources of the vehicle-mounted air conditioning system, so that the fuel oil consumptionis lowered, the operating cost of the public buses or large tourism buses is reduced, the emission load of automobile tail gas is effectively lowered, and ideas of energy conservation and environmentfriendliness are truly realized.
