The effect of combined spinal epidural anesthesia for the outcome of subsequent pregnancies
2013
Objective:To investigate the effect of combined spinal epidural anesthesia(CSEA)for the outcome of subsequent pregnancies. Methods:Combined spinal epidural anesthesia for labor analgesia in 60 healthy, full-term parturient primiparas with single fetus was analgesia group and similar condition at the same time, without any analgesia measure primiparas was a control group of 60 cases. The analgesic effect, parturient procedure, mode of parturition, postpartum hemorrhage and incidence of neonatal asphyxia were compared. Results:The differences for analgesic effect between study group and control were significant. The differences for the second stage parturient time and total parturient time was not significant(P 0.05).and mode of parturition, postpartum hemorrhage and incidence of neonatal asphyxia are not significant neither(P 0.05).Conclusion:Combined spinal epidural anesthesia is reliable parturition analgesia without any obvious adverse effects on puerpera and infant.
