This study evaluated the utilization of food waste compost to meet quality standard of solid refuse fuel (SRF) by mixing with unused biomass through the analysis of fuel properties. Since the moisture content of food waste compost is as high as 60%, it is necessary to remove the moisture through a drying process or process improvement for fuel production. When the compost is produced with a calorific value of less than 4,000kcal/kg, it is required to increase it 4,000kcal/kg by mixing unused biomass. The analytical result showed that various biomass materials for mixing can comply with the SRF standards. In the test results of the mixture for SRF certification, the calorific value of the compost can increase from 4,090kcal/kg to 4,600kcal/kg by mixing 30 of coffee residue. When the biological process as biodryging or drying process are applied, it was concluded that it is possible to produce fuel from food waste compost that can be satisfactorily utilized as SRF.
