Appraisal for the Soil Environmental Quality in Nanchang City

In this paper 13 kinds of elements,i.e.As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Hg,Ni,Pb,Zn,F,Se,Cl,P and S,are chose as evaluation factors,Nemerow Synthetical Pollution Index is adopted,four criterions are used to assess the soil environmental quality in referring to national standard on the soil environmental quality and soil background values in the city,whereas is divided into five ranks of safety,alertness,slight pollution,medium pollution and serious pollution.Due to the human activities,the evaluating result of shallow background value is mainly of alertness and slight pollution;however,the human impact on deep background value is less than on the shallow,thus the evaluating effect of deep background value is chiefly of slight pollution and middling pollution.
