Infection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealylicum in chronic vaginitis

2007
Objective To understand the infection of chronic vaginal Uu and Ct detedted by fluorescent quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR) in order to guide the correct clinical treatment. Methods CT-DNA and Uu-DNA in 380 of specimens were examined by FQ-PCR.Results CT-DNA positive ratio was 16.6%(63/380),the average amount of CT-DNA positive samples was 5.8×104 copies/ml;Uu-DNA positive ration was 42.9%(163/380),the average amount of Uu-DNA positive samples was 3.4×10.copies/ml;CT-DNA positive ratio was 12.6%(48/380).Conclusions FQ-PCR is a simple, quick and accurate technique. It is a good method in the diagnosis of the CT and UU.
