GRB Optical Prompt Emission: The Role of Monitors

The prompt optical emission of Gamma Ray Bursts was detected only in one case so far. We discuss the possibility to detect this type of optical emission, which is still difficult to record by follow‐up experiments, by wide‐field optical monitors.
