Presentations by postgraduate students are increasingly important components of their development as researchers. As such, this set of slides aims to be a useful guide in making impactful presentation slides. The slides form a component in a series of postgraduate student workshops on preparing for conferences and ultimately seeks to improve the outcomes for students as well as for their audiences by encouraging rigorous and systematic preparation to avoid typical errors and omissions. It is aimed at improving graduate students´ presentation skills in a number of key areas and suggests several ways of enhancing their research presentation for seminars,workshops and conferences.
