Clinical analysis of phloroglucinol and progesterone for the early threatened abortion

2013
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of phloroglucinol and progesterone for the early threatened abortion. Methods 160 patients with the early threatened abortion caused by luteal-function infufficiency were randomized into the observation group (phloroglucinol) and the control group (progesterone), 80 patients per group. Results Compared with the control group of 75.0% (60/80),the miscarriage success rate was 96.3% (77/80) with statistical difference in the observation group(P 0.05). Compared with the control group, the disappear time of symptoms and contractions were obviously reduced in the observation group(P 0.05),the incidence of adverse reactions was respectively(P 0.05).5.0% (4/80) in the observation group and 2.5% (2/80),the difference between the two groups were not statistical significance (P 0.05). Conclusion The treatment of phloroglucinol and progesterone for the early threatened abortion can rapidly improve the clinical symptoms, increase the tocolytic success rate, fewer the adverse reactions, and worthy of clinical promotion.
