Super-soft elastomer insulating material for charging cable and preparation method thereof

The ivnention provides a super-soft elastomer insulating material for a charging cable and a preparation method thereof. The super-soft elastomer insulating material comprises, by weight, 10-15 parts of an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), 1-5 parts of a thermoplastic elastomer, 5-10 parts of polyethylene, 10-15 parts of an ethene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 1-2 parts of a compatilizer, 50-63 parts of aluminum hydroxide, 2-3 parts of a stabilizing agent and 2-3 parts of silicone master batches. The preparation method comprises weighing the above raw materials according to the formula, feeding the raw materials into a feeding cylinder, carrying out internal mixing at a temperature of 100-170 DEG C, then carrying out discharge, and preparing rubber particles from the discharged raw materials so that the insulating material is obtained. Through synergism of EPDM and other raw materials, insulating material hardness is adjusted so that the insulating material has good flexibility, high elasticity, oil resistance and high flame resistance.
