Provided is a suction inlet coal residue smashing device for a centrifugal pump. To overcome the shortcoming that when an existing centrifugal pump is utilized to exploit coalbed methane, large particle coal residues often enter the centrifugal pump and pump blockage and pump wheel abrasion are caused, a smashing wheel assembly is installed on a pump shaft below an impeller. The smashing wheel assembly is located above a radial through hole of a lower connector. A smashing wheel of the smashing wheel assembly, a spacer bush, a smashing wheel, a spacer bush and a smashing wheel are sequentially installed from top to bottom. The smashing wheel assembly is fixed with the pump shaft in the radial direction through a key, a clamp spring is installed on the pump shaft at two ends of the smashing wheel assembly to axially fix the smashing wheel assembly, three or more than three blades are evenly distributed on the circumferences of hubs of the smashing wheels, and the end faces of the blades are in a trapezoidal shape outwards in the radial direction from the hubs and are perpendicular to the axis. The suction inlet coal residue smashing device has the advantages that the suction inlet coal residue smashing device is reasonable in structure, the coal residues can be smashed when sucked into the centrifugal pump and is discharged out of a mineshaft together with a medium, the impeller of the centrifugal pump and a guide wheel are effectively protected from damage, the service life of the centrifugal pump is prolonged, and the production cost is reduced.
