Interferometry of flow-fields associated with a F2 laser under high repetition rate operation

Visible light optical interferometer was used to observe the flow patterns of a F2 laser. The particle density distribution before and after the discharge under high repetition rate operation was shown with different values of clearance ratio. It was found out that the value more than 2 was necessary to obtain suitable gas condition for the normal laser operation.© (2003) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
