Synthesis and Characterization of Graphite-Carbon Nitride Microbelts

Nitrogen-rich g-C_3N_4 nanobelts were synthesized via the pyrolysis of melamine(C_3N_6H_6). The as-synthesized microbelts are structurally uniform,and each belt is uniform in width and thickness along its length direction.The typical width is in a range of 3μm to 6μm.The typical length of the belts is in a range of several hundreds of micrometers,some of which even have a length of millimeters.The structure and morphology were researched by XRD,SEM,CEA and XPS measurement.The result indicates the sample is graphite-C_3N_4.
