An improved flow-through respirometer for the automatic determination of oxygen consumption in aquatic invertebrates
1989
Abstract An automatic continuous-flow respiration system which allows the monitoring of oxygen consumption in six chambers (five experimental and one control) for ca. 10 min every hour is described. The valve system (a teflon inner disk and a perspex holder) is described and illustrated and specifications listed in table form.
