A Survey on the Perception of Korean Companies in Vietnam about Korean language & Korean Language Teaching -For the Development of Korean Language Teaching supported by Korean Companies-. Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language, 37, 303~324. Recently Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam has prepared Korean language programs for the Vietnamese workers working for Korean companies in Vietnam. Now about 100 Vietnamese workers are attending the programs. I think it is very useful for spreading Korean language in this country and making it international language there. So I surveyed on the understanding of Korean companies about Korean language and Korean language teaching by questionnaire and I presented the result in this paper. To sum up, many companies have bad perception about the Korean language programs. In this paper I also analysed the relations between specific characters of each company and the perception. The result is that the perception of companies in small cities and rural area is better than that in big cities. In addition in this paper I analysed the reasons of such survey results and proposed solutions to make the Korean language programs successful.
