The novel fumigant is formed by dissolving a mixture of sulphuryl fluoride and methyl-isorhodanate into a carbon dioxide liquid, wherein the sulphuryl fluoride and the methyl-isorhodanate are mixed for use according to the mass ratio of 20:1-200:1, and the carbon dioxide liquid and the mixture of the sulphuryl fluoride and the methyl-isorhodanate are mixed with each other according to any ratio. The novel fumigant can kill various pests such as bacteria, fungi, wireworms, insects, and the like, and hasthe characteristics of low price, convenient use, obvious effect, and the like.
