Abstract – Results of research are shown how the crest factor depend from the initial phases of the spectral components of the signal. Algorithm of finding the initial phases of the spectral components of the signal with a rectangular envelope of the spectrum and the minimum crest factor is proposed . For finding the set of initial phases was proposed vary the initial phases along the line of minima of crest factor in accord with the adaptive method .
