A method for thermally processing textile reinforced fiber composite workpieces

2014
A method of thermally processing a textile-reinforced fiber composite workpiece having a plurality of superposed layers of electrically conductive textiles, in which characterized by the fiber composite workpiece in the thickness direction, that is perpendicular to the extension of the individual textile layers, a current is passed, characterized in that - the fiber composite workpiece still has at least one electrically conductive short-circuit located alongside the superposed layers of fabric, which is arranged such that it generates an electrical short circuit between areas of different textile layers of the fiber composite workpiece when current is injected in the thickness direction in the fiber composite workpiece, and - the method includes a step of introducing an insulating material between the short-circuit position and the adjacent electrically conductive textile layers, and optionally between the short-circuit position and a device that initiates flow into the fiber composite workpiece, wherein the step for introducing the insulating material prior to introduction of the stream is performed.
