The HC-UNICAMP Morbid Obesity Ambulatory treats patients with obesity levels I, II and III, has a Multidisciplinary Team, made up by physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists and physiotherapists, with the purpose of guiding the weight loss and its aspects in a healthy way. The guidance are presented in pre-established groups, by the whole Team, emphasizing that it is necessary weekly participation, punctuality, compliance with guidance, diet, and losing weight to continue one's participation. The work purpose was for the patients to inform if they are satisfied with the guidance received by the Team Members. A questionnaire with 18 questions was applied and everyone was invited to answer, without needing to identify themselves, in a way that could assess if the program is preparing them to be operated. 175 questionnaires answered were analyzes, with results presented in percentages. Most patients identified themselves, and among those who identified themselves, 137 were female (85.6%) and 23 were male (14.4%). The patients also answered whether they are ready or not for the surgery after participating in the meetings. The general assessment on the Team and Service Structure (meeting room, physical space) was deemed excellent in 31.4%, good in 65.3%, can be improved in 2.8% and bad in 0.5%. The result analysis evidences that the Multidisciplinary Team has complied with its role in an effective way, in the sense of properly guide obese people, before and after surgery.
