Problems in the surgical treatment of the thromboembolic complications of rheumatism

After having studied the results of the surgical and conservative treatment in thromboses and emboli of the aorta and main arteries of the limbs in 32 patients with rheumatism the authors note a high percentage of mortality and postoperative complications. A valuable intense antirheumatic therapy, complex of measures combating inclusion syndrome allow to improve the results of the treatment of these severe cases.
