Structure and magnetic properties in Co/Cu multilayers with less than monolayer growth

The transition from granular to monolayer stack is investigated in Co/Cu multilayers. The change in resistivity associated with the onset of ferromagnetism is found near the percolation threshold where the granular-type GMR is observed.
