Clinical characteristics and autoimmunity state analysis of 36 premature ovarian failure patients

2010
Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics and autoimmunity state of premature ovarian failure(POF) patients and provide new methods for early prediction and treatment of POF.Methods:The clinical characteristics of 36 POF patients diagnosed and treated in our hospital from 2007.1 to 2009.5 were retrospectively analyzed, with 70 healthy reproductive-aged women as the control group. The serum FSH,E2,and InIrA,InIrB levels of two groups were assessed with ELISA.The peripheral blood CD4+,CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+ of two groups were detected using flow cytometry. Results: The BMI of POF group was higher than that of control group(P0.05).The uterine and ovarian volume of POF group were significantly smaller than that of control group(P0.01).The CD4+ level was lower than control group(P0.05),CD8+ level higher than control group(P0.01),and CD4+/CD8+ level lower than that of control group(P0.01).The serum InIrA and InIrB levels of POF group were lower than that of control group(P0.05).The CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ levels were positively related to E2 level, while CD8+ was negatively related to E2 level. Conclusions: The genetic and auto immunological factors may play a role in the etiology of POF.E2 can suppress the immunological response of T lymphocyte.Decreased serum Ihn levels and changes of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subtypes can become indices of early prediction of POF.
