The invention discloses a multifunctional pet management and monitoring system based on the Internet of Things. The system comprises a necklace terminal, a mobile phone client, a data processor and a database server, wherein the necklace terminal detects real-time pet information and transmits the pet information to the data processor; the mobile phone client transmits request information to the data process, obtains a result of the request information, and receives the real-time pet information sent from the necklace terminal via the data processor; the database server stores the pet information and interaction platform information, and establishes a corresponding database; and the data processor process the pet information of the necklace terminal and the request information of the mobile phone client, and makes information interaction with the database server. Thus, the system combines technologies of the mobile phone client and the necklace terminal, a lot of various pet breeding knowledge is combined, the problems in pet management are solved, it is not required to perform operation on pets, operation is more convenient and human-based, and the management efficiency is greatly improved.
