Preparation of CoCl_2-FeCl_3-Exfoliate Graphite Intercalation Compounds

In this paper,the synthesis process of CoCl_(2)FeCl_(3)-exfoliate graphite intercalation compounds(CoCl_(2)-FeCl_(3)-EGICs) is studied.The results indicate that the molar ratio of EG to FeCl_(3) lays an important role in the stage structure of EGICs: as the ratio of EG to FeCl_3 increases,the stage number increases.Under an appropriate molar ratio of EG to FeCl_3,pure-stage EGICs can be got.When the reactant ratio is determined,increasing the partial pressure of Cl_(2) in reaction system is of advantage to gain pure-stage EGICs.
