Comparison of the dynamic electrocardiogram between the malignant tumor patients with chemotherapy and those with chemoradiotherapy

2009
Objective To explore the electrocardiogram alteration of the patients with malignant tumor when panic and cardiopalmus occurred.MethodsDivide the patients with malignant tumor into 3 groups:without treatment(A group)、with chemotherapy(B group)、with chemoradiotherapy(C group).Dynamic electrocardiogram(DCG)were performed when panic and cardiopalmus occurred in the patients.Make comparisom of the heart rate、premature beat、ectopic tachycardia and ST-T changes.ResultsThere were significant significance in maximum heart rate 、minimum heart rate 、average heart rate and total heart rate of 24h between B and A group,C and A group. The average heart rate and total heart rate of 24h had significant difference between B and C group, but the difference of maximum heart rate and minimum heart rate between B and C group had no statistical significance. The more than 100 times of atrial and ventricular premature beat per 24 hours had significant difference between A and B group(P0.05),and very significant difference between A and C group(P0.01).The difference of atrial premature beat between B and C group had statistical significance(P0.05),but the difference of ventricular premature beat between B and C group had no statistical significance(P0.05).The transient atreial tachycardia had significant difference between A and B group(P0.01)、 A and C group(P0.01),and no significant difference between B and C group(P0.05).The difference of ventricular tachycardia between the three group had no statistical significance(P0.05).The difference of ST-T change had significant significance between A and C group(P0.01),and no statistical significance between A and B group(P0.05),B and C group(P0.05).ConclusionChemotherapy and radiotherapy have certain toxicity to heart, chemoradiotherapy may aggravate the toxicity.DCG can be considered to be the simple way to monitor the cardiotoxicity when patients are in chemoradiotherapy. It is beneficial for clinicians to adjust programs of treatment.
