Method, system and mobile access gateway for optimizing local routing

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method, a system and a mobile access gateway for optimizing local routing. The method comprises the following steps: searching a bound update entry corresponding to a mobile node after the mobile access gateway receives a message which is transmitted to an opposite node by a mobile node; transmitting the message to the opposite node when a local routing flag bit of the mobile access gateway is set in the bound update entry; and transmitting the message to the mobile access gateway of the opposite node when the local routing flag bit of a local mobile anchor point is set in the bound update entry. The method, the system and the mobile access gateway can reduce time delay of the message which is transmitted to the opposite node by the mobile node, improve the communication efficiency, and promote user experience.
