Minimally invasive treatment with small needle knife for stenosing tenosynovitis of hand flexor tendons and its’ effect on prognosis

2018
Objective To study the efficacy of minimally invasive treatment with small needle knife for stenosing tenosynovitis of hand flexor tendons and its’ effect on prognosis. Methods 70 patients with stenosing tenosynovitis of hand flexor tendons treated at our hospital were randomly divided into an observation group (minimally invasive treatment with small needle knife, n=35) and a control group (local block treatment, n=35). The treatment effects were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS scores decreased in both groups 24 and 48 h after the treatment, with statistical differences between before and after the treatment in both groups and between these two groups after the treatment (all P 0.05). The effective rate was 94.29% in the observation group and was 68.57% in the control group (P 0.05). Conclusions In the case of mature surgical technique and strict selection of surgical indications, minimally invasive treatment with small needle knife can effectively relieve the pain intensity of patients with stenosing tenosynovitis of hand flexor tendons, and improve the treatment effective rate, and is safe. Key words: Minimally invasive treatment with small needle knife; Stenosing tenosynovitis of hand flexor tendons; Effect on prognosis
