We thank the authors for their interest in our study which compared contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)/magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) with ultrasound for early perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA) detection in those with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).1 Li and colleagues voiced concern that the time interval between MRI/MRCP and ultrasound exams could bias our results and suggested the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) as an alternative method for early pCCA detection.
