NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON THE SEASONAL CHANGE OF COD DISTRIBUTION IN THE BOHAI SEA

A Three-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality models are developed.The initial COD distribution is based on the pollution survey at the end of 1970's and all the rela-tive parameters are obtained by ARCINFO and interpolated into the whole computed do-main.The processes of transport,degradation,and deposition of COD in Bohai Sea and North Yellow Sea in 1978 are simulated.The work establishes a model which can be used to improve for further water quality diagnose and prediction for Bohai Sea.
