Mesh reed valve for compressor

2015
A mesh reed valve for a compressor comprises a valve seat, a valve block, a lift limiter and a screw. The valve block is a mesh reed, and all rings of the reed are connected into a whole through elastic ribs; the contact surface of the lift limiter and the valve block is a rotating surface adopting the axis of the screw as a rotation axis; the generatrix of the rotating surface comprises a straight line segment and an arc segment tangent to the straight line segment; each airflow channel of the valve seat is an concentric annular channel, and the widths of all of the channels are gradually increased from inside to outside. Compared with a conventional mesh valve, the movement equivalent mass of the valve block is less, and the gas valve clearance is smaller. Compared with a conventional reed valve, the effective through flow area of the mesh reed valve is larger. The mesh reed valve is a gas valve which is suitable for large and medium-size compressors, high in rotation speed, low in stroke, and capable of adjusting displacement by changing the rotation speed.
