A kind of thruster layout method for full electric propulsion satellite, initially set up satellite privately plate rectangular coordinate system, in satellite, privately plate assembles three electric thrusters close to southern plate side, in satellite, privately plate assembles three electric thrusters close to northern plate side, then satellite is emitted using carrier rocket to synchronous transfer orbit, after satellite and the rocket separation, satellite orbit is completed using electric propulsion shift task according to the working condition of each electric thruster, until satellite is transferred to geostationary orbit from synchronous transfer orbit, finally according to the working condition of each electric thruster, so that corresponding electric thruster is lighted a fire in adaptation zone completes satellite position holding.The method of the present invention completes the Orbit Transformation in the lifetime of satellite phase and position holding task by the joint of four thrusters, demand of the full electric propulsion satellite to thruster thrust size and service life can effectively be reduced, adaptability of the full electric propulsion satellite to electric thruster is increased, has the advantages that ignition location, propellant expenditure etc. are basically unchanged before and after failing to separate unit thruster.
