Study on the compatibility principle of opposite assistant drug pairs based on the data mining

Objective To investigate the compatibility principle of opposite-assistant drug pairs which come from seven aspects in prescription compatibility.Methods Based on the Access database,the opposite-assistant drug pairs which were collected from Compendium of Materia Medica,were analyzed by Enterprise Miner with the association rules to get the compatibility principle.Results The combined modes that frequently used included "warm,pungent,spleen-cold,bitter,large intestine"; "warm,sweet,lungs-cold,bitter,lung"; “warm,pungent,spleen-cold,bitter,heart"; "warm,sweet,spleen-cold,bitter,lung".Conclusion There was a certain relationship that mutually exclusive between the two opposite-assistant drug pairs,which can prove these drug pairs would reduce the efficacy of each other..
