The principal scheme of the transformer with vectorial control was constructed. The scheme contains two active converters in control circuits. Assumptions used to create a basic mathematical model are: transformers´ leakage fluxes equal to zero, a magnetic permeability of cores of general and booster transformers are infinite, semiconductor converters and low-frequency filters are ideal and a short-circuit duty of a power system is infinite. The mathematical model of the transformer was constructed. Plots of power network voltage dependences of active and reactive powers were shows using the mathematical model. The model shows a transformer´s ability to stabilize (or to regulate) a voltage on a load and to generate a reactive power simultaneously. An algorithm of control parameters selecting for different load and network modes was formulated and an efficiency of functioning of the transformer in the modes was shown.
