Dearomatisation of naptha and kerosene : separately and simultaneously

Simultaneous extraction of aromatics for the refining of naphtha (50−115 ° C) and kerosene (140-240 ° C) streams is attractive considering the fact that it operates near ambient temperature and does not involve energy intensive solvent recovery and regeneration steps. Dearomatisation in both the extractors occur due to concentration gradient. Liquide-liquid equilibrium data was generated for column outlet samples-sulpholane systems which will be useful for designing the extractors
