The Spatial Governance Based on Suitability Evaluation of Land for Construction:Taking the Area of Jinling Prison as an Example

The paper takes the Jinling prison area in Nanjing as an example,with GIS technology as the main means,select the following seven factors as measurable indicators that influence the land development and urban and rural construction in the region:elevation,slope,aspect,floods,geology,water,vegetation,and make the land suitability assessment through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on these analyses,the area is classified as planning controlled zones,guiding development zones and strictly protected areas,and the corresponding land development strategy are given,which plays an important guiding role in the master planning,land use planning and urban construction.
