The role of the TRIB3 protein on vascular atherosclerosis

2017
The dysfunction of normal endothelial cells is characterized by changes in the expression of cell signaling proteins, resulting in the reduction of the biological functions of the corresponding cells. TRIB3 is the key protein of obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis and other metabolic diseases, through insulin resistance, endoplasmic reticulum stress, lipid metabolism and a series of ways to accelerate the formation and development of atherosclerosis. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the mechanism of TRIB3 in regulating blood lipid level, blood glucose metabolism, and vascular activity during the formation of atherosclerosis. Key words: TRIB3; insulin resistance; vascular endothelium; atherosclerosis
