Method for producing aluminum oxide-lime blend ores by Bayer process

2012
The invention relates to a method for producing aluminum oxide-lime blend ores by a Bayer process, which can effectively solve the problems of poor leaching effect, heavy evaporation load, low efficiency, high alkali consumption and low safety in production. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out ore blending, wherein the CaO content in ore slurry accounts for 8-10% of the total weight of the ore slurry; calculating the consumption of quicklime in the ore blending; sending the quicklime, which accounts for 30-50 wt% of the quicklime in ore blending, and diasporite into a mill, and adding the rest of quicklime in the form of circulating alkali liquid lime milk; and carrying out pre-desilication for 8-10 hours, and leaching for 45-50 minutes, wherein the concentration of circulating mother liquor NK is 210-240 g/L, and the temperature is 50-90 DEG C. The solid content of the lime milk is 280-320 g/L, and is strictly prohibited to exceed 380 g/L, thereby preventing the lime milk from being difficult to deliver due to poor flowability. The method provided by the invention is simple, stable, reliable and safe, effectively eliminates adverse effects of TiO2 in bauxite, enhances the Al2O3 leaching speed, removes the organic matters, improves the settleability, and lowers the alkali consumption.
