The ‘Ideal' Anti-TNF Patient: Indications for Anti-TNF Therapy in Ulcerative Colitis

Recently, the efficacy of anti-TNF agents in refractory UC patients has been reported. Promising results of large scale clinical trials encourage us. while we also have unsolved issues in daily practice such as how to evaluate mucosal healing, long-term prognosis of patients treated with anti-TNF agents, and possibility of cessation of anti-TNF agents in well controlled patients.
