BEZBEDNOST DRUMSKOG SAOBRAĆAJA KAO FAKTOR RAZVOJA TURIZMA REPUBLIKE SRBIJE / SAFETY OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC AS FACTOR OF DEVELOPMENT IN TOURISM IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

Savremeni turizam se smatra najvecom izvoznom industrijom. Prihodi koje ostvaruje turisticki sektor u svetu, naveli su mnoge države da u ovoj uslužnoj delatnosti potraže mogucnost povecanja neto deviznog prihoda i zaposlenosti stanovnistva. Jedan od znacajnih preduslova za razvoj turizma je i bezbednost drumskog saobraca i pratece infrastrukture. Iako je razvoj avio saobracaja omogucio ekspanziju turizma i dostupnost dalekih destinacija, za putovanja u zemlje okruženja, ali i za putovanja po dalekim destinacionionim zemljama, drumski je saobracaj i dalje ima izuzetan znacaj. Kvalitetna putna mreža, prateca infrastruktura, saobracajna i turisticka signalizacija, predstavljaju jedan od prvih relevantnih elemenata koji zapažaju, kako putnici koji su u tranzitu, tako i turisti koji su se opredelili za konkretnu turisticku destinaciju, a koji konkretnoj destinaciji može da obezbedi znacajnju komparativnu prednost u odnosu na druge. S druge strane, brojne okolnosti koje stvaraju povecane rizike po sve ucesnike u drumskom saobracaju, a po turiste u jos vecoj meri, umanjuju konkurentnost inace atraktivnih turistickih destinacija. S obzirom da razvoj turizma utice na mnoge sfere ekonomskog razvoja, turisticke kompanije i vlade zemalja koje u ovoj uslužnoj delatnosti vide mogucnost ekonomskog razvoja, nastoje da urade sto je moguce vise kako bi drumski saobracaj ucinile bezbednijim za sve, pa i za turiste. U ovom radu sagledacemo znacaj i uzajamnu povezanost bezbednosti drumskog saobracaja i razvoja turizma uz poseban osvrt na stanje u Republici Srbiji. ------------------------ Contemporary tourism is considered to be the biggest export industry. Incomes that contemporary tourism achieved in the world, had led many states to look in this service activity to increase net financial income and to increase population employment. One of the significant preconditions for development of tourism is safety of the road traffic and supporting infrastructure. Although the development of air traffic enabled expansion of tourism and accessibility of far destinations, for travelling to surrounding countries but also for travelling to far destinations, road traffic still has significant importance. Road network that has quality, supporting infrastructure, traffic and touristic signaling represents one of the first relevant elements that are noticeable by the travelers that are in transit as well as the tourists who have determined concrete touristic destination, which can provide significant comparative advantage for that concrete touristic destination compared to another. On the other hand, numerous circumstances that create increased risks to all participants in road traffic, especially for tourists, decrease competitiveness of destinations that are otherwise tourist attractive. Considering that the development of tourism affects many spheres of economical development, touristic companies and governments of countries that see possibility of economical development in this service activity, strive to do as much as possible to secure road traffic for all, as well for the tourists. In this article, we will look into significance and correlativity of connection between road traffic and development of tourism, with special review on situation in Republic Serbia.
